Kitchen Knife Sharpening - Annual Plan

This service is intended as an annual plan for standard kitchen knives used in daily cooking. For customers that intend to sharpen regularly, it offers the convenience of one payment up front, and locks in sharpening at current prices.

Includes one sharpening each month for 12 months for one specific knife.  This knife will be photographed and registered at your first sharpening.

Touch-ups included for normal edge wear due to heavy use

Damage repair not included (chips, broken tips, bends, misuse)

You may swap the covered knife once during the plan term

You’ll receive a QR Code card to use at drop-off instead of ordering online each time.

Touch-up policy

Touch-ups are for normal wear from frequent use. If the edge condition requires a full sharpening (or any damage repair), it will count as that month’s sharpening or be quoted separately.

Knife swap policy

You can change the covered knife one time during the plan term. After the swap, the plan remains tied to the new knife for the remainder of the term.

Each knife is sharpened entirely by hand using a diamond stone progression, adjusted as needed based on the knife’s condition. The edge is then honed, polished, and finished on a leather strop to produce a clean, precise, long-lasting edge.

No grinders or belt sharpeners are used. This process preserves blade geometry and steel integrity.

Customers may request:

Original factory edge angle or a custom angle

A more durable, slightly toothy edge or a finer, razor-sharp finish.  Note - A finer, razor-sharp finish requires regular maintenance using a leather strop and stropping compound, or requires more frequent sharpening.

Includes:

Hand diamond stone sharpening

Honing, polishing, and leather strop finish

Overnight turnaround

Drop-off and pick-up is available standard. Optional pickup and delivery is offered separately. Serrated blade sharpening is not included at this time, but will be an option in the near future. Turnaround time is typically 24-48 hours, and you will receive a notification once your order is completed.
